Summer catch-up

I skipped over some fun events of this last summer. I figure why not give you a brief recap? This is not all we did in the summer, but it will give you a glimpse at some fun things we did.

Camping at Hebgan Lake

In August we went camping with Ben's immediate family, cousin Bryce, and Aunt Brenda and Uncle Mike. It was a blast! We camped at Hebgan Lake which is right by Yellowstone. There were Grizzly sitings so Ben and I ended up sleeping in the back of our car, and the mosquito's were a bit much for most of us, but otherwise it was a BLAST!

Brenda and Mike brought their boat which we were all grateful for! Here's Ben with his brother and cousin tubing:

We also had Jim's fishing boat there and enjoyed trolling the lake to fish! It was so nice to just be out on the water.

 Cousin Claire's Bridal Shower

We traveled down to Utah one weekend for my cousin, Claire's bridal shower!!! We were so sad we were going to miss her wedding in California, and made a particular effort to be there for SOME festivity! The bridal shower was at my mom's house and several of our cousins were there! So fun!

Claire married Stephen Craig, the oldest son of Marie Osmond. Even though I knew this I just didn't think about Marie coming to my mom's house! It was fun to have her there and to meet her and some of her sisters-in-law. Such a nice family!

My little sister, Anna, and her best friend Julina kept trying to get in a picture with her, but were too timid at first to ask...

Eventually we did ask and they got her autograph as well :) Anna now has Marie's autograph pinned up in her bedroom. Cute girls :)

Megan's Birthday!

We traveled up to Bozeman for Megan's birthday in August. It was fun to be there to celebrate! She had  a birthday party with friends and went miniature golfing and also to the park!

Megan LOVES angry birds, so our friend Darcy made Megan a special cake!!! It was a hit!

We love you Megan and are glad to have you as a sister!!!

Overall it was a very fun summer!!!
