(backtrack) Audrey's first Easter!

For Easter this year we headed up to Bozeman, MT to spend it with Ben's family! I LOVE DRIVING TO MONTANA because we get to see so much wildlife. Ben and I always have competitions on who can spot the first deer. Every once in an exciting day we will get to spot a giant herd of Elk or a moose. This drive we got to see something else...
Buffalo! :)

LOVE being able to (slowly) drive just past these guys.

We had a great time in Bozeman, and spent time there from Thursday all the way to the next monday! Saturday we got together with extended family for an early Easter dinner.

These triplets are one day younger than our Audrey! They are the children of Ben's cousin, Alden and his beautiful Brazilian wife, Ana. Their names are Elizabeth, Samuel, and Victoria

I love being part of Ben's family. I've gotta say, it's nice to have a little time under our marriage belt because the longer I'm in the family the more comfortable I feel in our gatherings and the more I feel a part. Thank you to such a welcoming and loving family!

First thing Easter morning we had to search for our Easter Baskets. I hadn't received an Easter basket in 6+ years so I assumed Ben's younger sister Megan would be the one doing the hunt. WRONG. Donna (my mother-in-law) put together an awesome basket for Ben, Audrey and I with some great toys and things for Audrey and some treats for Ben and I. IN ADDITION to that Ben got me my own basket! I constantly am surprised and in awe at this boys considerate heart and devoted friendship.

My Easter basket! Ben doesn't care much for musicals, but I do! He got me the 25 Anniversary edition of Les Miserables! I can't wait to make him sit and learn to love it! ;)

Shortly after we found our baskets Ben and I headed off with my father-in-law, Jim, to hike 'the M'
It was a gorgeous Easter morning and there were several others enjoying the hike as we were.

We attended church then came home to enjoy a more intimate family dinner, with just the Hubbards.

It was a great weekend and we are always grateful to the hospitality we receive when we go to MT to visit! Ben's mom is especially considerate and we want you to know we are grateful!
