Today when I picked Ben up from work he asked what I was doing at 6pm. He had a surprise date for me and had already lined up a babysitter! My goodness I love when he does that. (It's happened twice now!)
Ben loves fishing and has gone QUITE OFTEN recently. He knew I had been wanting to go and that I wanted him to teach me, so he arranged for me to learn how to fly fish! What a sweet man!
Ben's friend Brayden is the BEST fly fishing guide ever! He let us go to his home and fish the Teton River (which runs right behind his house) Brayden was nice enough to let me wear his waders and use one of his poles! He was an excellent teacher and with his and Ben's help I was able to do some decent casts.

I love my man and I am SO GRATEFUL he was willing to share this aspect of his life with me. I can see why he loves fishing so much! It really is rejuvenating to be out on the river. I hope to pick it up and go more often! When I get my own gear that will be easier to do. That is, if 'the guys' don't mind me tagging along.
